Welcome to the video tutorial on the roadmap.

In the Bona Iqiniso software testing process, the roadmap corresponds to the configuration management process and is in fact applicable on all other sub processes, or better said on all deliverables.

Slide 3

The roadmap in Bona Iqiniso has 3 functions:

1. versioning of all work product/deliverables 
2. definition of the delivery in sprints and releases
3. define the baseline of every delivery (sprint or release) by linking it to a unique version of every deliverable involved.

Where the application board manages the traceability between epics, features and stories, the roadmap does the same by between stories and sprints

Each sprint, each release has a baseline that manages the new, updated and omitted (decommissioned) stories.

Slide 4: Summary

The roadmap is all about versioning of the work products, baselining every delivery and making sure the right stories are linked to the sprints and releases.
