The rationale for the roadmap

The roadmap is the blue-marked area
The original business idea has evolved into a product vision that is now showcased on the application board. This board comprises a comprehensive catalogue of all the necessary components for the product’s development process. The subsequent step is to ascertain and articulate the pathway for the product’s growth, which is aided by a roadmap. Depending on the development methodology employed, this roadmap may be referred to as a work breakdown structure (such as the waterfall model) or a product backlog (like Agile). However, it’s crucial to note that while a WBS delineates what should be done and when to do it, a product backlog only enumerates what should be done, leaving teams to devise a separate iteration plan for the ‘when.’
The roadmap is the planning you make for success. That is why it is an essential pillar of Bona Iqiniso.
